Addendum
A dated note appended beneath a published report, and the only way one ever changes. The original figures and the original words stay exactly as they were.
Why it matters
A report is written to be cited. If a correction could edit the page, every citation to it would point at something that no longer exists — so the correction sits underneath the figure it corrects, where a reader following a six-month-old reference sees both. A project's dispute is published the same way, whether or not we agree with it.
