Frozen figures
The copy of a period's numbers taken when a report is published. Everything on a report page renders from that copy and never from a live query.
Why it matters
An underlying figure can be corrected months later. If the report page read the live number, that correction would silently rewrite a document somebody had already quoted. The page is a photograph of the period instead, and a later change arrives as a dated addendum beneath it.
Where this is applied
Every figure on the site is computed under one public formula, versioned and dated. Read the methodology
